What it takes off you

Six things you can stop keeping in your head.

  1. Working out who’s paid from bank statements

    Rent goes on each tenancy when it’s due and payments are matched against it. The rent screen shows who’s behind and for how long, and a reminder is one click.

  2. A repair that slipped past its deadline

    Tenants report repairs in their app with photos. Each job’s deadline counts from the day it was reported, and damp, mould and heating go straight to urgent.

  3. A deposit or certificate date you forgot

    The 30 days to protect a deposit, gas safety and EPC renewals, and Right to Rent follow-ups all show on Today before they’re due.

  4. The tax return you dread

    Your SA105 figures build up as you record rent and costs, with mortgage interest on its own line. If Making Tax Digital applies to you, the quarterly figures come from the same records.

  5. The phone going on a Sunday

    Tenants pay rent, report a leak, check their deposit and ask whether they can keep a cat, all in their own app.

  6. Not knowing what the mortgage costs next year
